The ”la Caixa” Fellowship programme has supported talented graduate students for many years. But what about those who have the same potential, just lack the resources to make it to University? This is what the Bachelor Degree Fellowships were created for: breaking the entry barriers that are stopping extraordinary high school students from following their path into Higher Education. It’s a delicate message to put across, as the beneficiaries of these bursaries often come from marginalised backgrounds where studying is not a priority. For the recruitment materials of this Fellowship Call, we decided to call upon last year’s successful applicants: with the help of awardees Mireia and Divine, we designed an upbeat campaign that visually showed the barriers they have overcome, and the successful paths this has led them to.
