Shore

Working together for the conservation of our oceans

SHORE was all about boosting ocean literacy by getting students and teachers involved in supporting the EU’s “Restore our Oceans and Waters by 2030″ Mission. The project brought schools together from regions around the Baltic Sea, Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Danube River, and Rhine River, helping them implement “blue” curricula and focus on environmental education. Schools received grants to back their projects, and the most outstanding one won the title of “Ocean Ambassador of the Year.”

But SHORE wasn’t just about what happened in the classroom, it connected students, researchers, and local communities to work together on ocean conservation. We played a big part in this by creating the SHORE website and designing key communication materials like the logo, roll-up banners, and brochures. These tools helped get SHORE’s message out there, making sure it reached both schools and the broader community in a way that really stuck.
