Smart Avionics for Flight Termination System

Space exploration is quite an expensive endeavour. But what if we could make it cheaper? One way to do it is to find new ways to maintain the required standards of safety, but at lower costs. And that is what the SAFEST project is doing. To help spread the word, we created a space themed online platform, and enjoyed every moment of it. By integrating software, hardware and an Autonomous Flight Termination System, SAFEST will knock down the barriers for European universities to enter the space race. There is so much out there, waiting to be discovered.
