RedScope
The future of circular economy
Copper extraction is a key process for the digital transition of our society but currently has some environmental implications; the resulting liquid waste and the large consumption of water. The innovation project Red Scope aimed to tackle this problem. Led by Atlantic Cooper, one of the largest copper smelters in the world, the project was developing a smelter with zero waste and minimum water consumption. But the workings of this process were far from easy to understand, let alone communicate! So they asked for some help.
In this project we synthesised and structured the information, come up different simple messages and translated them into different communication formats; a leaflet, an infographic poster and an animation. Each communication material had a distinctive use and a set of unique characteristics. Overall, they were quite handy for the members of the project to explain their venture into a real circular economy!
