MICRO4BIOGAS
Producing an efficient, renewable, and easily storable energy resource.
Biogas is a powerful player in the search for more sustainable energy sources towards a greener Europe. Produced by tiny creatures that transform waste into methane, it has the ability to tackle two environmental concerns at once: energy shortage and waste management. However, little is known about what exactly needs to happen in order to produce it. Micro4biogas, an EU-funded project, aims to uncover the specific mechanisms underlying biogas production within biodigesters and improve the microbial communities involved in them, making the process reproducible, scalable, and more efficient.
Scienseed, as the key Communication and Dissemination partner in Micro4biogas, has developed the whole visual identity, communication plan, and the numerous outreach activities aimed at disseminating the science behind the project and its results, shifting the paradigm of the energy landscape in Europe.
