When work and fun collide, it’s win-win for all!

One of the biggest perks of being a science communication agency backed by former researchers is the ability to explore, innovate and promote new ways of communicating complex scientific concepts – and have fun while doing it! For this issue of the prestigious Cell Host & Microbe journal, we came up with a cartoon to interpret an interesting scientific concept detailed by Harbort et al. about how the plant host can put the bacterial root microbiome to work to promote mineral nutrition. Such playful interpretations are a win-win for us – we get to express our creative side while piquing the curiosity of our audience in complex concepts.
